Doors Open is a free, City-wide celebration of special and significant buildings and sites. All weekend long the doors and grounds of these amazing destinations are open to the public.

At Guild Park, Friends of Guild Park hosts a series of hour-long walking tours that show how the 88-acre site has welcomed artists, performers and the public for more than 90 years.

Doors Open participants will see where artists worked, admire the unique original art created and commissioned at Guild Park, and marvel at the landmark Greek Theatre, which was built from the facade of a demolished Toronto bank.

Friends of Guild Park tours start at the park's Sculptor's Cabin (watch for the signs) at 10 am and 2 pm each day. The tours are free but advance registration is required at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/guild-park-playground-for-the-arts-tickets-1299342100199?aff=oddtdtcreator . The tours take place rain or shine so wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Guild Park is also one of the few Doors Open locations where participants can explore two separate venues. In addition to the park's grounds, Doors Open guests are welcome to visit the park's Clark Centre for the Arts. This imagainatively repurposed exhibition space and artist studios is open to visit all weekend. Artists will be on-hand at the Clark Centre at 11 am and 1 pm each day.

Guild Park is located at 201 Guildwood Pkwy., Toronto. Pleanty of free parking on-site.
