Tonight (Fri. May 2) and Sunday afternoon, Friends of Guild Park welcomes visitors for a special Jane's Walk that looks at Guild Park's impact on the local community and all of Toronto.
Jane's Walks are popular free events at Guild Park. This year's walks mark the start of Guild Park's season of outdoor activities in 2025.
It's part of this weekend's city-wide Jane's Walk festival. More than 150 volunteer-led walks throughout Toronto celebrate the life and work of Jane Jacobs. She's the urban advocate who championed vibrant neighbourhoods in big cities across North America.

The Jane's Walks at Guild Park highlights how community activity has benefited this 88-acre park, local residents and the 200,000 people who come the the site year round.

Jane's Walks are opportunities for neighbours and community-minded people to talk about city issues that affect our quality of life. Jane's Walks are free and are enjoyed by everyone.
The Jane's Walks at Guild Park start at 7:15 pm Fri. May 2 at the park's front gates, 201 Guildwood Pkwy. The walk will last about 60 minutes.
The walk is repeated this Sunday May 4 starting at 1:30 pm (same starting place) .
A reminder that Jane's Walks at Guild Park are entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather and for strolling along the park's grass and trails. It's a great opportunity for picture-taking and getting insights about this historic park.
