Spring Shoreline Clean-up, organized by Friends of Guild Park. Volunteer to help clear debris
and plastics from Guild Park’s shoreline area. Part of the nation-wide shoreline clean-up
initiatives of Ocean Wise.
Weekly Gardening at Guild Park’s Pollinator Garden
Friday mornings, starting April 26.

Jane’s Walk
Saturday May 4. 10:00 am start.
Don’t miss this engaging volunteer-led walk and talk. Be part of the informal conversation about
the late Jane Jacobs. During the 80-minute event, learn how the ground-breaking ideas of this
Toronto-based urban advocate continue to make a difference at Guild Park.

Doors Open this year uncovers “Hidden Histories” across Toronto. At Guild Park, each walk
reveals fascinating stories from unique building fragments on-site. More Doors Open weekend
activities take place at Guild Park’s Clark Centre for the Arts.
Guildwood Day for GVCA members
Sat. June 1
A day-long community celebration with a local parade, kids’ games and neighbourhood
marketplace. The day wraps up with evening festivities at Guild Park. Free for members of the
Guildwood Village Community Assn.
Pollinator Week - Native Tree, Shrub & Wildflower Giveaway
Sat. Jun 15, 10 am to 1 pm (while supplies last)
Wildflower giveaway at Guild Park’s Sculptor’s Cabin. Two free plants per person, first-come,
first-served. Native trees/shrubs (pre-ordered by May 31) can be picked up at same time and
place (please bring your order receipt). Watch for signs and volunteers. Organized by the
GVCA, Friends of Guild Park & Guildwood Butterflyway Project.
In-Park Poetry Readings by Tender Possibilities (Toronto Arts in the Parks program)
Sundays starting June 9, 2:00 – 4:00 pm (continues every two weeks to August 18)
A summer-long series of six inspiring afternoon programs, each featuring a different poet
exploring themes of discovery and renewal.
Guided Walks at Guild Park
Last Sunday of the month, starts at 2 pm from the Sculptor’s Cabin
Stroll and explore the grounds with volunteers from Friends of Guild Park. Each leisurely walk is
about an hour long and highlights different aspects of the site’s history and features. Free.
Live Plays and Entertainment by Guild Festival Theatre
July 10 thru August 25 (various dates & times).
Adventure describes this year’s outdoor performances by Guild Park’s award-winning theatre
group. Family fun, comedy and a Canadian drama all come to the Greek Theatre. Tickets

Japanese Drummers at the Greek Theatre (Toronto Arts in the Parks program)
Wednesday July 10. Public workshop at 6:30 pm; Performance at 7:00 pm.
Nagata Shachu’s Taiko drummers return for their 3rd appearance at Guild Park. Come early for
this free popular event. Organized in cooperation with Guild Festival Theatre. Rain date: Sun.

Guild Alive With Culture Arts Festival
Sat. & Sun. July 27 & 28. 10 am to 5 pm
Guild Park’s biggest weekend event. Meet more than a hundred artists and artisans. Browse
their displays, admire their work. Enjoy lots of on-site entertainment, food and fun.
Fall Shoreline Clean-up
Sat. Sept. 21 – Morning
Help make Guild Park’s shoreline area better for wildlife by removing debris. Part of the nation-
wide shoreline clean-up initiatives of Ocean Wise.

Guild Park is owned by the Toronto & Region Conservations Authority and operated by divisions and departments of
the City of Toronto. Active volunteers organize a variety of public activities on-site throughout the year. Permits are
required for all commercial/ wedding photography on-site. For permit details, contact the City of Toronto 24-hour info
line 3-1-1. The City of Toronto requires dog-owners to leash their pets at all times while at Guild Park.
