Explore your creativity at this popular Art Workshop for adults

Updated: Aug 1

Friends of Guild Park is pleased to announce the return of the popular Expressive Art Workshops coming up on Saturday August 24.

For one day only, we'll host two hands-on workshops. They are designed to give you a unique and fun opportunity to explore your own creativity in the inspiring natural setting of Guild Park. No art experience is required and all art materials are provided with registration.

The flyer (pictured) has more info.

You can also check out the images of imaginative works created by participants at previous workshops.

Visual artist Carol Knowlton-Dority again leads these sessions, which include:

  • a walk through Guild Park's natural and art features

  • a guided meditation

  • lots of enjoyable ways to put art and colour into your life.

Choose either the morning or afternoon art workshop on Saturday August 24. Advance registration is required and numbers are limited. Please reserve your spot now on-line to avoid disappointment. Visit https://www.friendsofguildpark.com/event-list for details and to RSVP.

As a bonus, everyone who registers gets to take home your own set of high-quality oil pastels after the workshop.

At past workshops, families and friends have registered together, making it a shared, creative experience for spouses, parents with adult children, and like-minded colleagues. Note, these workshops are designed for adults only - those 16 years and older. (Also, due to mediation and limited spaces, please leave pets at home.)

Participants at previous workshops tell us how much they appreciate the chance to add more creativity in their lives - all done in a supportive environment with like-minded people.

Details and registration available now at https://www.friendsofguildpark.com/event-list
