Doors Open at Guild Park: "Playground for the Arts"

Doors Open is back at Guild Park & Gardens next weekend (Sat. May 24 and Sun. May 25). Special walking tours highlight how the site has been an inspiring playground for visitors and artists for decades.

This one-hour tour takes you through Canada’s first artist community - The Guild of All Arts - and showcases historic artists’ studios, sculptures and architecture.

Highlights include a visit to the restored artist’s studio, a walk through gardens with bronze and steel sculptures, and seeing the unique Greek Theatre, created from a neo-classical bank in downtown Toronto.

Two tours each day start at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. The free tours require advance online registration with Doors Open at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/guild-park-playground-for-the-arts-tickets-1299342100199?aff=oddtdtcreator

Each walking tour starts at Guild Park's Sculptor's Cabin, watch for the Friends of Guild Park sign.

Also throughout the weekend, Guild Park's Clark Centre for the Arts welcomes Doors Open visitors. Enjoy two Doors Open attractions at one site.

Guild Park is located along the Scarborough Bluffs, 201 Guildwood Parkway. Plenty of free parking on-site.
