Bakers & Makers Market Returns to Guild Park, Sat. Oct. 11, Noon to 3 pm

Guildwood’s local marketplace is back this Thanksgiving Saturday at Guild Park! Be sure to visit the local bakers, crafters and all the makers of food and gift items.

The special artisan market takes place rain or shine at Guild Park's covered Gazebo at Guild Park, 201 Guildwood Pkwy.

For the first time, reps from Friends of Guild Park will be on hand with a selection of unique merchandise that you won't find anywhere else. Come check out the keepsakes and mementoes from the original Guild Inn era:

• A selection of vintage postcards

• Decorative, wearable pins of Guild Park's sculpted "Bear" and Herakles keystone

• The popular book "The History of the Guild Inn" by the late local author Carole Lidgold

All proceeds go to improving Guild Park with more activities and features.

For added family fun later Saturday afternoon, join Friends of Guild Park for a special guided walk - Autumn in the Park. See on-site attractions that have special significance at Thanksgiving. The walk starts 2:45 Saturday afternoon, starting at from the Friend Guild Park's table at the market. More info at the marketplace
