A Strong Step Forward for Guild Park

Friends of Guild Park’s 2026 Annual General Meeting marked an important step forward for the organization – bringing together members and supporters for an evening that combined clear plans for the future with a rarely-seen look at Canadian artists at work some eight decades ago.

Held at the Clark Centre for the Arts and online, the AGM saw board members share updates and provide an overview of the collaborative approach Friends of Guild Park brings to its programs, advocacy and stewardship at this historic site.

The meeting included a screening of Third Dimension, a 1947 documentary produced by the National Film Board and the Sculptors Society of Canada. The film featured many of the Canadian artists whose work remains on display throughout the gardens and grounds of Guild Park. The showing was made possible by the NFB.
