About the event
Every Friday morning throughout the growing season, volunteers come by Guild Park’s Sculptor’s Cabin to look after the nearby garden. Thanks to volunteers’ amazing stewardship, the City of Toronto judged Guild Park’s pollinator garden as the Best Community Garden in the City last year.
Everyone is welcome to do some weeding, deal with invasive plants and water when necessary.
Bring your favourite weeding tools, a kneeling pad, gardening gloves, water and sun protection. Plenty of free parking. Select a date of your choice by signing up online.
Bonus: Volunteers receive free native plants for participating. Details on-line. Organized by volunteers of the Guildwood Butterflyway Project.
