About the event

The summer solstice is a time to celebrate Norse legends from the land of the midnight sun. Find out how the Vikings left their mark in Scarborough and at Guild Park. Ideal for those who’d like to learn about the Danish roots of the Sculptor's Cabin and the mythic figures displayed inside and outside this cabin. Includes a park walk to the top of the Bluffs, the feature that inspired Scarborough's name more than 200 years ago.

Come to Guild Park Sunday afternoon June 22 at 1:30 to learn about the mythic Regin, left, and his foster son, Sigurd, right, and the other hand-carved Norse figures visible at the Sculptor's Cabin.
