During the free 60-minuter walk, you'll see Guild Park's two commemorative Vimy Oaks, trees descended from the European oaks that grew on the site of Vimy Ridge.
The Sunday tour describes how a Scarborough soldier made it possible for this young pair of special oaks to get planted on the grounds of Guild Park.
The walk includes sculptures at Guild Park that are directly connected the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. For those unfamiliar with this towering structure in northern France, you'll see its image on the back of Canada's $20 bill.
