About the event
Guildwood Village Community Association is gearing up for an exciting Battle of the Bands on Sunday, March 8, 2026, and local musicians are invited to take the stage.
Each participating band will perform a 30-minute audition set, giving them a chance to showcase their sound, energy, and connection with a community audience. The stakes are high: the winning band will earn a $1,000 cash prize, generously sponsored by Melissa Kitazaki, Residential Real Estate Broker with Bosley Real Estate, and will also secure a featured performance slot at Guildwood Day on June 6, 2026.
Organizers are looking for bands that can deliver family-friendly music, strong vocals, and engaging stage presence suitable for an all‑ages crowd. To be considered, bands must be available for both the audition date in March and the Guildwood Day performance in June.
