Guildwood’s local marketplace is back Saturday, November 15 from noon to 3 pm!

The popular artisan market takes place rain or shine at Guild Park's covered Gazebo at Guild Park, 201 Guildwood Pkwy. Lots of free parking on-site. Watch for signs.

While you're at the market, be sure to drop by the Friends of Guild Park table. Say hello to the reps from Friends of Guild Park and share your comments or questions about the historic park.

You can check out the selection of mementoes from the original Guild Inn era and related Guild Park items (see image), including:

• A selection of vintage postcards

• Decorative, wearable pins of Guild Park's sculpted "Bear" and Herakles keystone

• The popular book "The History of the Guild Inn" by the late local author Carole Lidgold

A Decade of Dirt: Two photos of Guild Park's popular sculpture, "The Bear", originally created in 1979 by E.B. Cox and Michael Clay. The image on the left shows the white limestone artwork as seen in the City of Toronto's Management Plan for Guild Park & Gardens, 2014. On the right, is the same sculpture in 2025. The dark discolouration is the accumulation of surface dirt, pollution crust and destructive biological growth of lichen and other living organisms on the stone.
